Miss Can by Tin2Table

A SELF-MADE MERMAID Hi my name is Miss Can and believe it or not, I’m a mermaid. I’m also the proud successor of a 3rd generation family business with deep ties to the canning industry. If you ́re wondering about my name let me tell you a story. Back in the old days, when my grandfather first started this business in 1911, tradition said that canned goods should have women ́s names as a way to represent the canner ́s platonic love for them. Hence the name Miss Can, although I also think that it speaks volumes about my personality, as an independent mermaid capable of everything.   Mackerel Fillets with Thyme and Lemon: Our wild-caught mackerel fillets with thyme and lemon are like sunshine in a tin. The tangy lemon pairs perfectly with the earthy thyme, creating a flavor that’s as refreshing as sea breeze. If you want to level up your snack game, mash these bad boys into creamy ricotta and drizzle with a touch of honey for a stunning appetizer. Nutritious AND delicious, you can't beat that combo! Marinated Mussels in Escabeche Sauce:  Ever wonder why the Portuguese sea is so strong? It’s packed with mussels that are big, bold, and unbeatable, just like ours. Our marinated mussels in escabeche sauce are infused with a zesty blend of vinegar, olive oil, and spices that bring out their rich, ocean-kissed flavor. Each bite is a punch of briny goodness, hand-prepared to perfection. Try them in one of our favorite tapas or whip up a smoked mussel spread for an easy, irresistible snack. One taste, and you’ll see why our mussels are a force to be reckoned with.
