These are hard soles.  The inside where the leg is placed is genuine soft leather. These are handmade in Mexico. There will be some small imperfections.   If unsure of exactly what size you need, we recommend ordering up one size because your little one can always grow into them. Our philosophy is better to be too big than too small. These are a special occasion boot. When soles on boots are scratched or show any sign of wear we cannot accept returns on them.
