Mint Julep Caladium (2 Bulbs) | Blue Buddha Farm

Cool, refined, and quietly bold — the Mint Julep Caladium is a tropical treasure made for shady spaces and soft garden palettes. With large, heart-shaped leaves that shimmer in tones of light green and pink, this fancy-leaved variety stirs the senses with its painterly variegation.  Each leaf features a rosy-pink center and veins, outlined in a broad minty-green margin, creating a soft yet striking display that holds its beauty from summer through fall. The plant's compact, clumping habit makes it ideal for borders, underplantings, shade containers, or even indoor pots, where its elegant form adds texture and light. Unlike many caladiums, Mint Julep is more heat tolerant, thriving gracefully in warm, humid climates. This tender perennial is perfect for gardeners who crave color and structure in shade-loving spaces — and its ease of care makes it a favorite among beginners and collectors alike. ✨ Key Features Type: Fancy-Leaved Caladium (Caladium 'Mint Julep')  Foliage: Pink heart and veins, mint green edges  Mature Size: 18" tall × 12" wide  Habit: Clumping, upright foliage  Best For: Shade beds, underplantings, containers, indoor displays  Texture & Color: Elegant variegation, long-lasting foliage color Heat Tolerant: Performs well in hot, humid conditions Light & Soil Light: Part shade to full shade Soil: Rich, well-draining, slightly acidic Moisture: Keep evenly moist, not soggy Growing Info Zones: 9–11 (perennial), grow as annual or bring indoors in cooler zones Planting: Plant tubers 2–3" deep, smooth side down, once soil warms to 60°F+ Fertilizer: Use balanced fertilizer monthly during growing season Maintenance: Easy care, no deadheading needed  What You’ll Receive Two (2) Mint Julep Caladium bulbs, ready for planting Grown for vibrant color and container-friendly size
