Minnesota Sunset Reflections (canvas wrap)

The original Sunset Reflections was painted on a road map of Minnesota using thinned acrylic paints to allow the map to show through. I choose a distant passage through the trees of this lake scene to lead the viewer deeper into the painting and the map behind it. The muted colors and blurred images remind me of the many times I've spent on the water just after the sun goes down, everything is still awaiting  the approach of darkness. A raised silver colored bead separates the trees from their reflections. * Brian Minnesota Sunset Reflections is a one of a kind hand embellished reproduction using our raised  “Molten Metals” process. This added dimension makes it look like the original but at a fraction of the cost. Printed on a ready to hang 1.5" deep canvas, the edges are gallery wrapped in black so there's no need to frame! Due to the handcrafted nature of this artwork, each piece may have subtle differences. Sizes: 30"H x 24"W 40"H x 30"W Also available as a 16"W x 20"H photo print.   Click here for details>.
