Our framed digital illustration honors the blue sign that welcomes visitors to the Minnesota State Fair's West End gate entrance. From 1933–1964, this arch had been at the fairgrounds' streetcar entrance, but it was removed in the 1980s. As far as anyone knows, it was then forgotten about. But during construction of the West End in 2014, the sign was discovered, and then restored to its current glory.
