Great replacement to the stock gear reduction starter. Works great with our Tri-Y Big and Small block headers. Due too casting variances, it is recommended to test fit the starter prior to final installation. In some instances there is excess casting that will need to be ground down for proper fit. Also take notice of the power lug clearance to the side of the block. This unit is considered a rebuilt starter, due to the re-use of the housings. All internals are new. Part Number: SCSMS
