Mini Classic Perla Necklace

Inspired by the color variety found in natural pearls, this collection update features opalescent ceramic “pearls” in iridescent Peony, Aquamarine, French Blue, & Classic White Perla.  These beauties are made from our smooth white stoneware clay, fired with a shiny high fire glaze, and then pearlized. The iridescent finish on the shiny glaze is a pearl luster that is applied and fired for a third time, similar to how we add our gold luster. I love that these are not actually pearls, but are a humble bead of clay that has gone through the rigorous process of creation, sanding, and three separate firings - some over 2,000 degrees.
