Mind Games Blockade

Mind Games | Blockade | Extrait de Parfum Blockade is a brilliant, unconventional fragrance from the artisanal house Mind Games. Inspired by the strategy, focus, and mental armor of chess, the fragrance captures the concept of turning defensive maneuvers into an unstoppable offensive force. It entirely avoids predictable fresh or aquatic paths, instead choosing to explore a striking, vibrant duality of crisp fruits and smooth, deeply textured leathers. It opens with a bright, unexpected splash of succulent mango and zesty citrus before anchoring itself in a rich, sophisticated field of warm resins and dry woods. Olfactory Pyramid: Top Notes: Mango, Pink Pepper, Tomato Leaf, Bergamot Heart Notes: Mango Blossom, Lavender, Cyclamen, Star Anise Base Notes: Suede, Oud, Amber, Patchouli Vibe: Vibrant-fruity, crisp-green, smooth-leathery, and fiercely confident. Common QuestionsWhat are the notes in Mind Games Blockade? Mango, bergamot, tomato leaf and pink pepper at the top, mango blossom, lavender, cyclamen and star anise in the heart, and suede, oud, amber and patchouli in the base. What does Mind Games Blockade smell like? Green mango over soft leather. Mango, pink pepper, tomato leaf and bergamot open it, mango blossom, lavender, cyclamen and star anise form the heart, and suede, oud, amber and patchouli give it a dry, smooth base. Composed by Christelle Laprade. Is it a fruity fragrance? The mango leads, but the tomato leaf keeps it green and the suede and oud make the drydown far more grown-up than a simple fruity scent. Should I buy the 100mL blind? At full-bottle prices, try the perfume as a 1.5mL sample first. Where can I buy it? Here, or in person at our counter in West Hartford, Connecticut. If you have not tried it, start with the 1.5mL sample before the full bottle. Is Mindgames the same as Mind Games? Yes. The house writes its name as two words, Mind Games.
