It is considered rare for Tourmaline from any locality to produce orange-colored stones and this one is similar to the ever popular and highly sought after "Padparachsda" Sapphire gems, which can retail for high numbers. Tourmaline is classified as a "Type-3" gemstone (same category as Emerald) which means that clean stones are incredibly rare to find.
