Parisite (INCREDIBLY RARE gemstone)

This Parisite has some very slight inclusions, but it also has the added bonus of hosting a thin black "needle" of Riebeckite on the edge. The stone has a rich orange color, about as good as you'll see for the material. Parisite is one of those stones that should be in every rare stone collection, so don't miss this chance to snag this incredibly hard to find gem. This one is better than most you'll find out there because the color and clarity are superior that anything we've seen in the past. Parisite is one of those stones that should be in every rare stone collection, so don't miss this chance to snag this incredibly hard to find gem. This one is better than most you'll find out there because the color and clarity are superior that anything we've seen in the past. We acquired this gem from our source in Peshawar, who informed us that in over 25 of dealing with minerals from Zagi Mountain, these are the BEST Parisite gems that he's ever had. Parisite is a relatively uncommon, rare-earth carbonate that contains fluorine. The mineral was named after J.J. Paris who was the proprietor of the world-famous Emerald mine at Muzo, Columbia, the type locality for the species. In my experience the BEST gems are those from the famous Zagi Mountain locality in Pakistan. This locality has produced some beautiful and fine quality rare-earth species like Parisite, Basnasite, Gadolinte and Xenotime, but the Parisites really stand out for the size, color and clarity.
