Milwaukee MA887 Digital Seawater Refractometer

Take the guesswork out of salinity testing with the Milwaukee MA887 Digital Seawater Refractometer, a precision digital instrument designed specifically for measuring seawater. Instead of interpreting the line on a traditional optical refractometer, the MA887 provides a clear digital reading in seconds. It's an excellent choice for reef aquariums, saltwater fish systems, coral systems, quarantine tanks and other marine applications where maintaining stable salinity is critical. The MA887 measures seawater in PPT, PSU and specific gravity, while also displaying temperature and providing automatic temperature compensation. Digital Salinity Testing Made Easy Salinity is one of the fundamental parameters of a marine aquarium. The MA887 makes routine testing fast and repeatable without requiring the user to visually interpret an optical scale. Simply calibrate the instrument, place a sample of aquarium water into the stainless steel sample well and take the measurement. Key Features Digital Seawater Measurement Designed specifically for seawater and marine applications. Multiple Measurement Scales Measure salinity in PPT, PSU or specific gravity (S.G.). Automatic Temperature Compensation Temperature compensation helps provide consistent measurements across normal operating conditions. Fast Digital Results Measurements are displayed digitally in approximately 1.5 seconds. Stainless Steel Sample Well Easy-to-access sample area designed for quick testing and cleaning between measurements. Simple Calibration Calibration is performed using distilled or deionized water, making routine calibration straightforward. Battery Powered Portable design allows the MA887 to be used throughout your aquarium setup without needing a nearby outlet. Milwaukee MA887 specifications Ideal For The MA887 is an excellent testing tool for reef aquariums, marine fish aquariums, coral systems, quarantine systems, frag systems and saltwater mixing stations. It's particularly useful for aquarists who want the convenience of a digital instrument rather than reading a traditional handheld refractometer. Available Configurations MA887 Digital Seawater Refractometer The standard MA887 provides the digital refractometer itself and included manufacturer accessories. Retail Price: $155.00 MA887 Digital Seawater Refractometer + Protective Carrying Case Get the MA887 along with the MA800 protective carrying case for convenient storage and added protection when the instrument is not in use or being transported. Retail Price: $201.00 The carrying case is included only when the case configuration is selected. Any promotional case supplied with the standard configuration is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Why Choose a Digital Refractometer? Traditional optical refractometers can provide excellent results when properly calibrated and used, but readings require the user to visually interpret a scale. The MA887 converts the measurement into an easy-to-read digital result, making it especially convenient for aquarists who test frequently or maintain multiple marine systems. As with any aquarium testing instrument, proper calibration, clean sampling and regular maintenance are essential for reliable results. Care & Calibration Calibrate the MA887 according to the manufacturer's instructions before use and whenever calibration is appropriate. Always keep the sample well clean and rinse it with suitable clean water between measurements to prevent salt residue or contamination from affecting future tests. Do not allow saltwater to dry repeatedly in the sample well without cleaning. Why Buy From Infinity and Beyond Aquatics?
