Miles Davis “Bitches Brew” LP

Bitches Brew puts the focus on trumpet-led modern jazz, from hard bop and modal playing to orchestral and electric experimentation. Miles Davis leads two electric ensembles that include Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Joe Zawinul, John McLaughlin, Dave Holland, Jack DeJohnette, and other major figures of the period. Long-form pieces such as “Pharaoh's Dance” and the title track fuse jazz improvisation with rock volume, electric keyboards, percussion, and studio editing. The album became one of the defining records of jazz fusion and remains a key reference point for electric jazz. For fans of John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, and Wayne Shorter. 0888751119017
