Miles Davis

Along with his musical fly buddies, the Willie Nelson fly and the Al Green fly, Miles Daivs is a twist on the good ol' egg sucking leech. We all know that the black and blue combo is super seductive to steelhead and salmon, and this color combo is very effective when the water is colored up or dirty. Since Miles Davis was a blues great, the sparkly blue head of this fly pays homage to the great trumpeter. It's the black rabbit fur that soaks up water, helps the fly stay down deep, and wiggles like a wacked-out eel. Salmonids cannot resist this treat! Big streamer-eating trout are also vulnerable around this pattern.  Articulation gives you a sizeable fly that hooks fish and keeps them hooked throughout the fight. You won't be singing the blues while fishing this bad boy!
