Mike Viola - Chum - Vinyl LP [PREORDER]

Orders are expected to ship on Chum release date October 30th. Recorded at Mike Viola’s Barebones studio and pressed at Optimal in Germany on 140g black vinyl, CHUM captures one of modern pop’s great unsung songwriters at his most immediate and alive. Across a career spanning Candy Butchers, a dozen or so solo albums, and collaborations with artists including Panic! At The Disco, Dawes, Vulfpeck, Mandy Moore, Andrew Bird, Jenny Lewis, and Madison Cunningham, Viola has developed an unmistakable gift for pairing indelible melodies with emotional honesty and raw energy. His music carries traces of the Beatles, Paul Simon, Big Star, and Black Sabbath, but the voice at its center is entirely his own. Written, recorded, and shaped with the fiercely independent spirit that has defined his career, CHUM is classic Mike Viola: personal, vital, hook-filled, and built to be played loud.
