One of the big concerns of scientists and earth preservation groups is microplastics. Microplastics are tiny particles in the air, water, food and soil. This is an unfortunate result due to our globalized economy. Researchers have defined it as the Plastic Age. Microplastics are increasingly found in the Earth’s oceans, atmosphere, drinking water, and food supplies. Some studies have examined the effects that microplastics have on the human gut microbiome. These studies suggest that they disrupt the healthy colonies of gut biomes necessary to stay vibrant and well, whether young or old. Mighty Dirt is a synergistic blend that naturally contains binders, minerals and natural buffers for the gut. Some significant, effective and noninvasive binders are: food grade diatomaceous earth, bentonite clay, or zeolite that may help to bind to certain toxins and remove them from the body.  There is long list of the chemicals manufacturers use to make plastic packaging that are hormone disruptors.
