Midori MD Notebook A5

Summary A full-size notebook designed for extended writing and clear thinking. The MD Notebook A5 combines smooth MD Paper, a flexible lay-flat binding, and four layout options to support everything from structured notes to open pages. Product Story The MD Notebook is built around the act of writing itself. By removing unnecessary layers, MIDORI focuses on paper, binding, and proportion—creating a notebook that feels consistent from the cover through every page. MD Paper is used throughout, including the cover and endpapers, giving the notebook a uniform surface and feel. Developed in Japan and refined since the 1960s, the paper handles ink with control, reducing bleed-through and feathering even with fountain pens. The thread-stitched binding, reinforced with a visible cheesecloth spine, allows the notebook to open completely flat. In the A5 format, this creates a stable, open writing surface suited to longer sessions, planning, or working across a full spread. Choose the layout that matches how you work: blank for free-form pages, lined for structured writing, grid for precision, or dot grid for a balance between writing and diagrams.
