This kit is guaranteed to fit the following Midea indoor unit models: MSMBA09HRDN1BN10W MSMBA09CRDN1MP0W MSMBA09CRDN1BP0W Large Washable Screen Filter Dimensions: 10-5/16" x 10-13/16"  Maintenance & Care Midea recommends cleaning your filter every two weeks using a vacuum with a soft-bristle brush attachment. In environments with heavy dust, pet hair, or smoke—such as garages, restaurants, or homes with small children or indoor smokers—filters should also be washed gently with warm, soapy water. Always allow the filter to dry completely out of direct sunlight before reinstalling. ⚠️ Do not operate your unit without the filters installed. For added convenience, consider keeping a second set on hand for uninterrupted use during cleaning and drying. Replacement Guidance While these filters are washable and reusable, their performance does decline over time. With routine care, filters typically last 12 to 24 months—but even well-maintained filters gradually lose their ability to trap fine dust, odors, and bacteria. We recommend replacing them every 12 months for best results. Optional Cold Catalyst Air Freshening Upgrade Filter Add an extra layer of freshness to your indoor air. This optional upgrade filter fits into the pre-molded slot inside your unit’s main screen filter. The cold catalyst layer assists in neutralizing lingering odors and low-level VOCs from common household sources, helping your space feel fresher between cleanings. Filter Dimensions: 8.4" x 2" Maintenance & Care: Vacuum every two weeks and wash gently with mild detergent as needed. Allow to fully dry before reinstalling. Replace every 2 to 3 years, or sooner if your environment is especially dusty or odorous.
