Middle Eastern Shawarma Sauce and Marinade

Middle Eastern Shawarma Sauce and Marinade Our Middle Eastern Shawarma is a deeply layered aromatic marinade with notes of citrus and warm spices.  An almost perfect pairing for simple grilled or roasted chicken, a shawarma meal is elevated further by the layering of traditional Middle Eastern sides - think yogurt, pita, hummus - think in the terms of a gyros or a donner kebab.   What is Shawarma? A traditional Middle Eastern blend of truly exotic spices born out of the Ottoman Empire. Spices including cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper are infused with layers of citrus including fresh lemon and our house-made candied oranges. The sauce is finished with a hint of fresh mint. A simple way to enjoy a shawarma-centered meal is to marinade chicken, lamb or beef with the sauce (or you can do roasted cauliflower or homemade falafel if eating plant based), grill or roast the protein or vegetable (whatever you are using), then serve with warm grilled pita, a simple side salad of fresh tomato, cucumber and red onion and a side of hummus and garlic yogurt sauce.   ✓ Gluten Free ✓ Additive Free ✓ Non GMO ✓ Low Sugar ✓ Vegan Nutrition  Ingredients:  Black Tea Infusion (black tea leaves, water, spices) 100% Fresh Orange Juice, Cider Vinegar, 100% Lemon Juice, Olive Oil, House Made Candied Oranges (fresh oranges, cane sugar, white wine, water) Non GMO Brown Sugar, House Made Preserved Lemons (fresh lemons, salt) Custom Blended Spices, Fresh Mint, kosher salt, Xanthan Gum Bottle Size: 250 mL Serving Size: 1 Tbs (15 mL) Calories: 15 Total Fat: 0.5g Saturated Fat: 0g Trans Fat: 0g Cholesterol: 0g Sodium: 135mg Total Carb: 2g Dietary Fiber: 0g Sugars: 2g Added Sugars: 1g Protein: 0g Please note our products are made in a Facility Where: Fish, Crustacean Shellfish, Wheat, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame, Soybeans and Milk May Be Present Shake Well.  Refrigerate After Opening
