The Microwave Receiver uses a plate antenna which gives high sensitivity to microwave frequencies over a broad area. A control allows the user to adjust the sensitivity to cater to different circumstances and distances, allowing for a range of sound and wave demonstrations and experiments. Output is to an internal loudspeaker. For use with Microwave Transmitter (97-6401).
