MicroStop Dry Heat Sterilizer - Protect

The MicroStop Protect sits between the Optimal and the Protect Pro, giving busy salons serious sterilization capacity without the largest footprint in the lineup. Tools load across 5 horizontal shelves, holding up to 20 full instrument sets or 15 sterilization pouches per cycle. Cycle Details Three sterilization modes: 200°C for 30 minutes, 180°C for 60 minutes, or 160°C for 150 minutes, plus an 80°C/30-minute drying-only mode Heats to sterilization temperature in about 20-25 minutes, holding within ±3°C of the set point Internal fan spreads heat evenly across all 5 shelves Electronic controls with a front-panel display for live temperature and time Horizontal-only loading keeps a bulk batch organized shelf by shelf Running It Clean, rinse, and fully dry every tool before loading. Spread tools or pouches across the shelves, keeping ventilation openings clear. Choose a mode: all three sterilization settings work for loose tools; pouches are limited to the 180°C or 160°C cycles. Wait for the unit to reach temperature before the sterilization countdown starts. Let the chamber cool fully before opening it, then power down. At about 16.5 kg and a maximum draw of 0.7 kW, the Protect needs a dedicated spot with room to load the shelves comfortably — it's not a unit you tuck into a small station. It's built for busy salons and multi-tech studios that sterilize in volume daily but don't need the full 7-shelf capacity of the Protect Pro. It holds less per cycle — 20 tool sets versus 28, and 15 pouches versus 21 — in a shorter unit, making it a fit for busy salons that don't need the Pro's full capacity. Can I load pouches vertically like the Compact or Optimal? No. This model is horizontal-only, loaded across its 5 shelves. Is the heat-up time longer than the mid-tier models? Yes — about 20-25 minutes versus roughly 15-20 minutes on the Compact or Optimal, since it's heating a larger chamber.
