Microgynon

Microgynon is a tablet Microgynon contains the same dose of levonorgestrel and ethinylestradiol as the brands: Levest, Rigevidon and is similar to Nordette, Levora and Portia Microgynon 30 belongs to a group of medicines called combined pills (oral contraceptive pills) that contain 2 types of female hormones: estrogen and progestogen. These hormones prevent pregnancy in 3 ways: by preventing release of an egg from the ovaries, thickening the discharge from the cervix which makes it more difficult for sperm to penetrate the womb and preventing thickening of the lining of the womb required for implantation of the egg.
