Microclover: The Eco-Friendly, Low-Maintenance Ground Cover for Beautiful, Resilient Lawns Transform your lawn with Microclover, a hybrid miniature version of Dutch White Clover, designed for lush, low-maintenance landscapes. Originally developed for golf courses, Microclover provides a beautiful, even green ground cover that’s perfect for lawns, gardens, and container gardening. This clover variety requires minimal upkeep, delivering a steady nitrogen supply, controlling erosion, and naturally suppressing weeds with deep roots. Why Choose Microclover? Ideal for spring lawn renovations, Microclover thrives in various settings, from home lawns to large-scale landscapes. It’s a popular cover crop in hemp fields, orchards, and other agricultural applications due to its low height, compact leaf size, and uniform growth pattern, blending seamlessly with grasses without clumping or appearing weedy. Key Benefits: Water Efficient: Requires up to 25% less water than conventional lawns, making it drought-friendly. Blends with Grass: Coexists well in lawn mixes without overtaking grasses. Low-Maintenance Mowing: Tolerates regular mowing but requires less frequent cuts than traditional lawns. Erosion Control & Weed Suppression: Deep roots stabilize soil and inhibit weed growth. Natural Nitrogen Supply: Continuously enriches soil with nitrogen, reducing the need for fertilizers. Traffic Tolerant & Disease Resistant: Withstands foot traffic and resists common lawn diseases. Non-GMO & Hardy to Zone 3: Conventionally bred and adaptable to a range of climates. Planting Tips: For best results, plant when outside temperatures are between 60–75°F and soil temperatures range from 50–65°F. Ensure sufficient soil moisture, especially in the forecasted days after planting. For successful germination, avoid planting in soils below 50°F, as seeds may remain dormant. What is my soil temp?
