The heel drops into place when you need it, then lifts away when you don't. Fully adjustable from 0-1", this gravity operated heel accessory has been designed to double as a sacrificial component to your GRR-Ripper if you so need, so feel free to use it as a backing block when cutting end grain joints to prevent tear-out. The new Gravity Heel virtually eliminates tear-out and increases control and stability when feeding short or long stock on the table saw. It provides a secure backing on routing operations preventing blowout and can also be used as a template for repeat routing. The Gravity Heel is perfect for use with long stock on jointers.
