I have not had any issues with them in the 6 months or so that I have been using it. The old style would always build up condensation and made it hard to hear. I am not a paid spokesperson or anything like that just a cop who likes this product. I started my shift with a humid 75 degrees & ended with rain & temperatures into the 40’s. With the conventional tube design in this weather, I would have to use compressed air to blow out the tube several times during a shift to remove moisture from the tube. With the tubeless design I no longer need to keep a can of compressed air on hand. I appreciate the solid cable design with no need for an airtube. The air tubes often discolored with age or became blocked with debris. The all black coloring allows for a stealth aspect & the single, thin, uncoiled line running around & down my ear allows for a minimalist look & feel.
