Micro Bending Kit for Metalcraft Master RBR Tool (sold separately)

Enhance Precision with the Metalcraft Master RBR Micro Bending Kit SPECIFICATIONS: Maximum Working Capacity: Micro Bending using "U" Formed Die: 3/4" wide x 1/8" thickness (flat metal strip) 9/16" wide x 1/8" thickness - reverse bend only ** - (flat metal strip) 1/4" Solid Round Rod/Square Bar using the larger of the 2 "U" dies provided in kit. 3/16" Solid Round Rod/Square Bar using the smaller of the 2 "U" dies provided in kit. Micro Bending using "V" Formed Die: 3/4" wide x 1/8" thickness (flat metal strip) 9/16" wide x 1/8" thickness - reverse bend only** - (flat metal strip) 1/4" Solid Round Rod/Square Bar using the larger of the 2 "V" dies provided in kit. 3/16" Solid Round Rod/Square Bar using the smaller of the 2 "V" dies provided in kit.   ** A reverse bend is: When bending on the Micro Bender making a square or a pentagon shape is what we call a closed bend as the shape is being closed and the steel ends will eventually touch. A reverse or “s” bend is where the second bend is bringing the steel away from the original bend i.e. like a zig zag effect. Reason you can only use a lighter gauge material on a reverse bend is because when reverse bending the steel needs to sit on the recessed part of the die ( if the reverse bend is tight ) which is only half the width and so the bent steel does not have the full support of the die.
