Mickey Hobbes

It all begins with a little mouse who used his will to drive a steamboat through our hearts. Animation was born and this pivotal character now lives within us all.     "Rocketship underpants... a treehouse with a view, Everyone's in a hurry... time for a drawing or two, The schedule is tight a deadline can be rough, Never enough time to nothing enough, Day after day... nothing at all seems to change, Then everything is different... now isn't that strange? A cure for the jerks who made you feel yucky, You need just one friend to know that you're lucky, Just call out my name... whenever you're blue, Because you're so special... I told the stars about you."     This listing is for one digital reproduction. The original painting is acrylic on wood panel.
