Michael Michaud Design: Flowering Thyme Earrings, Stud Post

Cast bronze with a hand patina finish. Accented with freshwater pearls. Flowering Thyme: During the Medieval Times, thyme leaves were used as a gift to empower courage in those who carried them. Today, the leaves are used as an herb in many culiary dishes, giving roasted meats, vegetables, and even apples a delicious flavor. Thyme is also used for medicinal oils and is a remedy for sore throats and coughs. During the early to mid-summer, small lightly colored flowers grow in clusters around the tips of the branches enchanting the herb with the lovely scent of a new beginning.
