MI5 Rear Hub

The MI5 traces its heritage back to the original White Industries Ti Cassette Hub introduced in 1992. For more than 30 years, we’ve refined our hub designs through real-world testing and continuous innovation. Today, every MI5 carries the same proven DNA: simple engineering, dependable performance, and long-lasting reliability. The MI5 combines a lightweight design with exceptional strength. Therefore, it’s an excellent choice for road and gravel bikes with rim brakes. At the same time, its robust construction makes it equally capable on loaded touring bikes and classic mountain bike builds. At the heart of the MI5 is a heat-treated, black-oxide 4130 steel axle with lightweight aluminum axle ends. Four premium Enduro sealed cartridge bearings support the hub—two in the 6061-T6 aluminum hub shell and two in the 6Al-4V titanium freehub body. Together, they deliver smooth rolling performance, excellent power transfer, and long service life. Choose from five spoke drilling options, two anodized colors, two axle configurations, and four freehub body options to build the perfect wheelset. Whether you’re riding pavement, gravel, or backcountry roads, the MI5 delivers premium Made in the USA performance you can rely on.
