Allow your makeup (foundation, concealer, blush, etc.) to settle for a minute or two after application. 2. Shake the Setting Spray: Before using the setting spray, shake the bottle well. This helps ensure that the ingredients are properly mixed. 3. Hold at Arm’s Length: Hold the setting spray bottle about 12-16 inches (30-40 cm) away from your face. This distance helps to distribute the product evenly and prevents it from being too concentrated in one area. 4. Close Your Eyes and Mouth: To avoid getting the setting spray in your eyes or mouth, close your eyes and keep your lips tightly sealed. 5. Spray in a T or X Formation: Imagine drawing a T or X on your face. Start by spraying in the center of your face and then move outwards. This ensures even coverage. 6. Use a Few Spritzes: You don’t need a lot of setting spray. Start with a few spritzes and assess if you need more. It’s easier to add more than to remove excess. 7. Allow It to Dry: After applying the setting spray, keep your eyes and mouth closed for a few seconds to let it dry. You’ll feel a slightly cool sensation as it evaporates. 8. Check for Touch-ups: Once the setting spray has dried, check your makeup. If there are any areas that need a touch-up, you can apply a little more makeup before applying another light layer of setting spray. 9. Avoid Overuse: Setting spray is effective, but using too much can make your makeup look cakey. Use it in moderation. 10. Lock It In: Setting spray helps your makeup last longer, especially in hot or humid weather. It can also give your makeup a more natural finish.
