Montavue Nexus 8MP 4K AI Turret PoE Security Camera – MHT-8-101

MHT-8-101 The Montavue Nexus 8MP turret camera delivers sharp 4K video at 18 FPS for clear, reliable coverage. Intelligent lighting and smart motion detection enhance visibility and reduce false alerts, while powerful IR LEDs provide up to 100 ft of night vision. Two-way audio allows real-time communication, and PoE connectivity ensures a simple, stable setup. With direct to NVR recording and easy access through the Montavue Nexus app, you can monitor and manage your security anytime, anywhere. This camera operates exclusively with Nexus NVRs, providing flexible recording and monitoring options for your security system. 8MP Resolution 4K security video captures four times the detail of standard HD, making it easier to identify faces, license plates, and critical details, even when zooming in. Recorded at up to 18 FPS, it delivers smooth, reliable footage while maintaining exceptional clarity. The higher resolution provides clearer evidence, better coverage with fewer cameras, and greater confidence that nothing important is missed. Smart Lighting Smart lighting uses infrared LEDs for discreet night monitoring up to 82ft, then automatically activates warm visible light when a person or vehicle is detected. This provides full color footage when it matters most while also acting as a deterrent to potential intruders.   Two-Way Audio Two-way audio lets you hear what’s happening and speak directly through the camera in real time. Whether warning intruders, giving instructions, or checking in remotely, it adds an extra layer of control and interaction to your security system.   Perimeter Protection Perimeter protection uses intelligent digital tripwires to create virtual boundaries around your property. When a human or vehicle crosses a protected zone, the system instantly triggers alerts—helping you detect threats early, reduce false alarms, and secure critical areas before an incident escalates. Active Deterrence This camera is equipped with active deterrence capabilities which include a siren and warm lights flashing. Use this ability to prevent crime before it happens by scaring away unwanted intruders. Active deterrence can be used with smart motion detection and perimeter protection.
