MFC Small Arm Shrimp

The MFC Small Arm Shrimp is a clean, low-profile shrimp pattern built for situations where fish are keyed in on subtle movement and natural presentation. Designed with a slim body, flowing materials, and balanced weight, this fly lands soft, sinks naturally, and stays in the strike zone without overpowering wary fish. The flexible legs and tail materials create constant movement, even when the fly is sitting still, mimicking a shrimp in a natural defensive or feeding posture. This pattern excels when fish are pressured, water is clear, or conditions demand a more refined approach. It’s a go-to option when aggressive patterns get ignored and fish require something that looks alive without being loud. Shrimp patterns like this are a staple across flats fisheries because they imitate one of the most consistent food sources for species like bonefish and redfish.
