MEZO™ – Smart Shopping Cart Screen with RFID, Wayfinding & In-Store Advertising

MEZO is an innovative screen added to the handlebar of shopping carts and trolleys, equipped with an advanced RFID reader system that seamlessly interacts with the store’s database. This system detects the shopper’s location within a supermarket or Airport Duty Free Store, triggering relevant advertisements on the MEZO screen. For instance, as a shopper enters the beauty section, a targeted beauty product advertisement is displayed. Additionally, when a product passes through the MEZO screen’s RFID sensor, an advertisement for a competing product can be shown, enhancing promotional opportunities. The MEZO system also connects to the shopper’s smartphone via a dedicated app, delivering a personalized shopping list directly to the cart. This feature includes a built-in wayfinding map that guides customers to the correct aisle and shelf, streamlining the shopping experience. By automating the shopping list and providing precise directions, MEZO significantly saves customers’ time. Furthermore, advertisements tailored to the shopper’s preferences and current advertising campaigns are displayed, offering timely suggestions.
