Meze STRADA Closed Back Headphones

IMPACTFUL AND CLEAR SOUND STRADA delivers a balanced, controlled tuning focused on precision. The low end is tight and articulate, with a subtle bass lift that adds punch and body without excess. The midrange stays neutral and transparent, preserving natural timbre and clear separation between instruments and vocals. Treble extension is smooth yet revealing, adding gentle energy in the upper registers to uncover fine detail and spatial cues, while maintaining a cohesive overall presentation. CLOSED-BACK BLISS STRADA builds on the acclaimed LIRIC chassis, reimagined around a dynamic driver design. Hand-built from premium materials and shaped for a natural, adaptable fit, its lightweight closed-back construction distributes pressure evenly across the head and ears. This thoughtful design achieves a balanced combination of consistent sealing, effective isolation, and long-wear comfort in a versatile closed-back form. COMFORT THAT INVITES YOU IN Designed for extended listening sessions, STRADA combines gentle clamping force, deep memory-foam ear pads, and the proven ergonomics of the award-winning LIRIC design. Soft PU leather contact surfaces provide a reliable acoustic seal Alcantara-lined inner chambers help manage heat and moisture Reduced fatigue during long listening sessions Together, these elements create a closed-back headphone that feels natural and effortless to live with, allowing you to stay immersed long enough to forget to press pause. DRIVER DESIGN At the core of STRADA is the dynamic driver first introduced in the 109 PRO, now tuned specifically for closed-back operation. The driver’s natural character is preserved while its behavior is refined to meet the acoustic demands of a sealed chamber. W-SHAPED DOME The dome is constructed from a carbon fiber-reinforced cellulose composite, enabling high-frequency reproduction with exceptional clarity, detail, and definition. Lightweight yet more durable than conventional alternatives Reduced resonances that can cause harmonic distortion BERYLLIUM-COATED TORUS Surrounding the dome is a torus made from beryllium-coated semicrystalline polymer. The beryllium layer is applied using Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), increasing stiffness and durability while maintaining low mass for fast transient response. Grooves positioned at a precise 45.5° angle for improved performance High damping characteristics suppress unwanted resonances These qualities contribute to STRADA’s vivid, transparent sound signature. STABILIZED A copper-zinc alloy stabilizer positioned around the membrane enhances vibration absorption, further reducing distortion and improving overall driver stability. FEATURES AND CRAFTSMANSHIP MAGNETIC EAR PADS STRADA features a seamless magnetic ear pad mounting system, improving serviceability and enabling quick, effortless pad changes without compromising proper sealing. EXOTIC WOOD CHOICE The ear cups are finished in Macassar ebony, a dense and visually striking hardwood known for its deep brown tones accented by intricate golden-brown striping. LOW WEIGHT, EFFORTLESS LISTENING By pairing the precision-crafted LIRIC frame with a new dynamic driver system, STRADA achieves reduced weight, translating into longer and more enjoyable listening sessions. SMOOTH ADJUSTMENT RODS Precision-crafted adjustment rods move with fluid ease, allowing smooth, click-free fit adjustments. This intuitive system ensures a secure, balanced fit that remains comfortable throughout every listening session. NATURALLY MODERN SHEEN The magnesium frame is finished in a deep, refined green infused with subtle metallic particles that gently shimmer as they catch the light. Each chassis is hand-painted by in-house artisans, with four carefully applied layers required to achieve STRADA’s rich texture and depth. BUILT TO LAST GENERATIONS Every element of STRADA is designed for longevity, from its resilient frame to its removable, serviceable components. Premium materials chosen for durability Modular construction for easy repair and refresh Long-term ownership at the core of the design This approach honors the past, invests in the future, and creates a product meant to be passed down, not replaced.
