Meze Audio 99 Classics V2 Headphones

The Meze Audio 99 Classics V2 marks the 10-year anniversary of one of the most beloved headphones in modern audio. Since their debut in 2015, the original 99 Classics became an icon for their warm, musical tuning and timeless walnut-wood design. The V2 continues that legacy with a refined acoustic balance, improved comfort, and full serviceability—built to last for decades, not product cycles. Iconic Design, Thoughtfully Refined Everything listeners loved about the original—its inviting tone, effortless comfort, and handcrafted materials—remains intact. Look closer, though, and you’ll find subtle yet meaningful evolutions: increased internal ear-cup volume, enhanced acoustic sealing, and a new clip-in earpad system that simplifies replacement while optimizing fit. It’s the same unmistakable silhouette, re-engineered for today’s listener. Features & Craftsmanship Walnut-wood ear cups — CNC-machined, hand-finished, and polished for lasting beauty and natural resonance. Two tonalities — Optional acoustic absorbers let you shift from the balanced V2 tuning to the warmer signature of the original 99 Classics. Self-adjusting headband — Spring-steel support and vegan-leather strap provide an even, pressure-free fit for every head shape. Redesigned earpads — Medium-density foam with a six-point clip-in mount for easy replacement and improved seal. Sustainable by design — Every component—drivers, headband, cables, ear cups—is user-replaceable for long-term serviceability. Included accessories — Dual-twisted Kevlar-reinforced cable, 6.3 mm adapter, and USB-C DAC/amp dongle for modern setups. Balanced, Natural Sound The 99 Classics V2 adopts a more neutral tuning than its predecessor, improving separation, imaging, and overall soundstage while preserving the musical warmth that made the original famous. Enhanced sealing and re-engineered baffles deliver cleaner bass definition, smoother mids, and an airier top end—resulting in a presentation that feels both familiar and freshly refined. Built for Listeners Who Value Longevity Every detail of the 99 Classics V2 is designed to endure. From its sustainable construction to its replaceable components, this headphone embodies Meze Audio’s philosophy of “buy once, enjoy for life.” Whether for focused work, studio monitoring, or pure home listening, it offers a blend of sonic honesty, tactile luxury, and timeless style.
