Meywalk 2000 Gait Trainer

Meywalk 2000 Gait Trainer By Pacific Rehab The Meywalk 2000 Gait Trainer has been expertly crafted by Danish adaptive experts, Meyland Smith for Pacific rehab, to assist special needs teens and young adults who may need extra support or balancing assistance when walking from point A to B. The Meywalk gait trainer employs a unique system of spring suspended seating and trunk support, in order to provide the most secure assistance possible, while maintaining the upright posture necessary for an optimal walk, along with the ‘bounce’ associated with a regular gait pattern. Both the trunk support and the seat can now be adjusted with absolute ease, using quick and handy spanner grips. What’s more, a convenient swing bar allows users to easily get in or out of the Meywalk during transfer, taking strain off the carer and bringing the special needs user that much closer to rewarding independence. Once the special needs user is out of the transport vehicle or stationary seat and in sit in the Meywalk, the swing bar is pushed down in order to lift the ergonomic seat and the user into a standing position. Furthermore, the Meywalk offers users the option of anything from a vertical to a 15 degree forward tilt, accommodating a host of special needs and unique physical diagnoses. The Meywalk gait trainer incorporates a lightweight, all steel frame and hardy but soft, puncture proof castors and tires for smooth maneuvering from one place to the next, whether that be indoors or outdoors! The Meywalk is constructed and finished in only the highest quality materials to ensure a long life with the minimum maintenance necessary.
