Tasting Notes: Toasted almond, brown sugar, mild citrus We're thrilled for Chiapas' return! It's balanced, sweet, comfirting & just delicious.  We're again partnering with Food 4 Farmers, a Vermont-based nonprofit that has worked with CESMACH since 2013 on food security projects. For every pound of Chiapas we roast, Brio contributes $1 to apiary projects at CESMACH.  The farms part of the Cooperative are located in the buffer zone of El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, which is in the highlands of the Sierra Madre. It is one of the most diverse forest reserve areas in the world and contains Meso-America's largest cloud forest, as well as a protected natural environment for thousands of plant and animal species.
