Woven Mexican Blankets

The Legendary Mexican Blanket, Restored. Woven in Southern Mexico from 100% upcycled fibers, the Compadre® Falsa is built the way legendary Mexican blankets were meant to be: heavy, dense, rugged, and made to last. Rooted in tradition and crafted with purpose, it’s authenticity you can feel the moment you pick it up. While modern falsas have become thinner, lighter, and mass-produced, Compadre goes in the opposite direction. We use more material, a tighter weave, and traditional craftsmanship to create a blanket with real substance — the kind of quality you notice immediately. Every Compadre blanket is made entirely from recycled fibers with zero added dyes, creating rich, natural colors while reducing environmental impact. It’s heritage craftsmanship with a modern conscience. Whether it’s thrown in the back of your truck, packed for a camping trip, stretched across the beach, wrapped around a campfire, laid out for yoga, or living on your couch, this is the blanket built to handle all of it — and get better with age. There are plenty of blankets inspired by the Mexican falsa. Compadre brings back the original standard: a heavyweight Mexican blanket built with the craftsmanship, character, and durability that made these blankets legendary. Don’t take our word for it.
