Metro:Otherscape Corebook

*** Next day dispatch in the US, UK and Canada. Out of stock in the EU. Gods. Humans. Drones. In the not-so-distant future, the constant bombardment of technological stimuli, known as the Noise, have made human minds so overloaded and numb, that previously hidden occult forces can now operate in the open. Demons, spirits, monsters, and gods — the same mythic powers that have guided and haunted humanity since time immemorial — no longer need to hide their part in the geopolitical powerplay. Striking deals with mortals, they bestow upon them boons of magical, reality-bending abilities. Corporations and individuals who become aware of these spiritual beings vie for their power, eager to harness it in their endless war for control. At the same time, technology continues to enhance humans beyond their point of origin, into cybernetic beings that could contend with the gods. In the sprawling Megacities of the world, arcane power and cutting-edge tech is hoarded and controlled by crime syndicates, government agencies, and megacorps, led by godlike Avatars. In a thriving shadow market, cybernetically-enhanced assassins, demonic hired guns, and privateer temple raiders race to secure legendary assets and survive another day. :Otherscape is a fantasy-cyberpunk role-playing game that combines supernatural powers inspired by mythology and legend with the gritty neon-lit streets of a sprawling futuristic Megacity.
