Metal Lavender

A tale of two lavenders: lavandin with its metallic facets and lavender with its soft floralcy, together amplified by earthy, musky notes. From Matiere Premiere Metal Lavender reimagines lavender with a modern, oversized twist that feels fresh, elevated, and effortlessly wearable. Founder and Perfumer Aurélien Guichard was inspired to create this scent while spending time in distillation facilities in Provence. The lavender featured in this fragrance is grown exclusively in Matiere Premiere’s own fields in Grasse, making it a true expression of the brand’s craftsmanship and ingredient-first philosophy. "I imagined Metal Lavender while spending time in distillation facilities in Provence. This almost brutalist environment, made of concrete and metal, left its mark on me - the light, the volumes, the sounds." – Aurélien Guichard Perfumer Aurélien Guichard Notes lavandin, lavender, Cashmeran, musks FYI Matiere Premiere perfumes contain between 85% and 92% natural ingredients. They are vegan, phthalate free and without any colouring agent. This fragrance can be ordered here on our website, or purchased at our store at 2408 Fillmore Street in San Francisco.
