We wanted to capture that big, ballsy, articulate sound... without any "fizz" or nasty sounding high-end. If your amp modeler's tone sounds anemic or "fizzy", these Cab IRs are the antidote. The Process: Neve mic preamps and world-class A/D were used to capture the IRs. No EQ or filtering was used during the capture process. Each mic was captured in three positions; center, edge, cone... each position both on/off axis. Tone-shaping IRs: While digital EQ is effective, Neve hardware EQ has a luxurious fat/smooth analog sound. Take your tone to the next level by shaping it with included Neve EQ IRs. Format: The IRs are provided in both 24Bit/48k and 16Bit/48k Wav file formats. Compatibility: We created these cab and tone-shaping IRs specifically with the Line-6 Helix in mind.
