Mervyn Solid Wood Bed Frame

The Mervyn Platform Bed is the most minimal piece in the Dogberry bedroom lineup — a clean, low-profile solid wood base with no headboard, designed for bedrooms where simplicity is the point. The elegantly tapered legs flare gently outward at the base, giving the frame a grounded, sculptural quality that makes the base itself the design statement. Without a headboard, the Mervyn gives you complete flexibility — pair it with your own headboard, mount a floating shelf or panel above it, or let the wall speak for itself. It works naturally in Japandi, Zen-inspired, minimalist, and contemporary bedrooms where visual restraint is a deliberate design choice. Solid wood construction with rubber wood ergonomic slats featuring embedded tapes that keep your mattress firmly in place. Non-toxic, odorless, lead-free finish. Compatible with memory foam, spring, and hybrid mattresses — no box spring required.
