Mermaid Shell Stencil

Mermaids have been part of our lore and mythology for over 3,000 years. These half fish, half woman creatures tug at our imagination. And whenever we see a mermaid, we obviously want them to be modest, so they are generally wearing a bra/bikini top that is often made of shells. After all, we have to keep the image of a wild sea creature alive and well and easily used by the children who love them. This is the inspiration behind the name of our awesome Mermaid Shell stencil. This is the exact kind of shell we always see mermaids wearing, and it's really nothing more than a simple clam shell. Yet, it is beautiful in its simplicity and it makes a great design for art or decor in your home. If you have a sea theme in your bathroom, you can use the smaller size of this stencil to create a wall border. Or you can use the biggest stencil size to paint a large shell on your bathroom wall, perhaps over your bathtub. Yes, we offer the Mermaid Shell stencil in a range of sizes, including: 6” x 6” 8” x 8” 12” x 12” 15” x 15” 20” x 20” 25” x 25” 30” x 30” 35” x 35” However, there are so many other things you can do with this stencil design. If you have a beachside cottage, you can hang shell-inspired art, perhaps paired with another stencil design, such as our Summer Beach Vibes stencil. You can use it to paint a sea-theme in your child's bedroom or on the set of a play. You can paint it on lamps, vases, and t-shirts. All you need is the right paint for the surface and you can paint this design anywhere. Best of all, this stencil design is simple and easy to paint, even for the beginner. Just secure it to the surface and paint. The resulting image will look perfect and cleanup is a simple matter of washing the stencil in warm, soapy water. And since it's 100% reusable, you can tuck it away and use it again whenever you want.
