Merican - MMB Red Light Therapy Bed

Merican MMB Commercial Full-Body Red Light Therapy Bed with 26,880 EPISTAR® LEDs and 5-Wavelength Independent Control The Merican MMB is a commercial full-body red light therapy bed engineered for professional wellness environments that demand consistent, high-output performance across every operating hour. Where smaller panel-based systems treat one region at a time and require the client to reposition repeatedly, the MMB's bed configuration delivers simultaneous full-body coverage in a single 13-to-15-minute session. That is not a convenience feature it is the operational core of the product. A busy wellness centre, recovery studio, or medical spa can process clients through a complete full-body protocol in the time it would take a panel system to treat the torso alone. 26,880 EPISTAR® LEDs density, uniformity, and 100,000-hour lifespan The MMB's LED array is built around 26,880 EPISTAR® high-performance diodes a component specification that matters for two distinct reasons. First, density: the sheer number of LEDs across the full bed surface produces the uniform irradiance coverage that professional protocols require. There are no zones of higher or lower output, no positioning requirements for the client to maximise exposure. Second, longevity: EPISTAR® diodes are rated to 100,000 hours of operational life. For a commercial unit running multiple sessions per day, this translates to years of reliable output before any degradation becomes clinically relevant which is precisely the durability expectation a professional operator should have before placing a unit of this size and investment into daily service. Five independent wavelengths red 633nm and 660nm, near-infrared 810nm, 850nm, and 940nm Most red light therapy devices use one or two wavelengths controlled as a single channel. The MMB provides five: red at 633nm and 660nm, and near-infrared at 810nm, 850nm, and 940nm, each independently controllable. This architecture matters because the biological penetration depth and the cellular mechanisms engaged differ meaningfully across those wavelengths 633nm is absorbed primarily in surface tissue, 940nm penetrates significantly deeper into muscle and joint tissue. The ability to run each channel independently means a practitioner can configure sessions that emphasise specific wavelength combinations for specific client goals, rather than running a fixed protocol predetermined at the manufacturing stage. The system supports both continuous wave and pulsed modes, adding a further dimension of protocol customisation beyond wavelength selection alone. Touchscreen control, wireless tablet, and T-Max integration The MMB's control architecture is designed for commercial environments where both front-of-house simplicity and back-of-house management matter equally. The integrated touchscreen provides direct session control at the unit itself session timer, wavelength selection, mode switching, audio management. For facilities that prefer remote or reception-based control, the system supports wireless tablet operation, allowing staff to start, monitor, and end sessions without entering the treatment room. T-Max integration extends this further, enabling multi-unit management from a central point relevant for any facility operating more than one MMB or integrating the unit into a broader managed wellness cabin network. The built-in Bluetooth speakers are controlled through the same interface, allowing the client to connect their own audio source and manage playback without staff intervention. 4,500W commercial power, integrated cooling, and fully assembled delivery at 200 kg At 4,500W and 220V, the MMB is a dedicated commercial circuit installation. The power connection is configured per country plug or dedicated circuit with breaker and RCD/GFCI protection, depending on local electrical standards. The integrated cooling and ventilation system manages thermal output during sessions, maintaining a comfortable treatment environment at the surface the client experiences while protecting the LED and electronic systems from heat-related degradation over time. The unit arrives fully assembled at 200 kg net weight. Delivery and placement requires appropriate material handling equipment; the MMB is designed as a permanent facility installation rather than a unit that is frequently relocated once sited. Five wavelengths independently controlled Red 633nm and 660nm plus near-infrared 810nm, 850nm, and 940nm, each on its own channel. The depth of tissue engagement differs across those wavelengths, and independent control means practitioners can build protocols around specific combinations rather than accepting a fixed factory configuration. Continuous wave and pulsed modes Beyond wavelength selection, the MMB supports both continuous wave and pulsed delivery modes a second dimension of protocol customisation that allows operators to tailor session parameters to client goals and treatment preferences without additional hardware. Touchscreen + tablet + T-Max control The tiered control architecture suits facilities of any size. The touchscreen handles in-room operation. Wireless tablet support enables reception-based session management. T-Max integration provides central multi-unit management for facilities running several beds simultaneously. 100,000-hour LED lifespan EPISTAR® diodes rated to 100,000 hours mean a commercial unit running multiple sessions daily will deliver consistent output for years before any light degradation becomes a clinical concern the durability specification that separates commercial-grade equipment from consumer-grade hardware scaled up. 13–15 minute full-body sessions The bed configuration completes a full-body protocol in a single 13-to-15-minute session. For a busy facility, this is an operational efficiency advantage that panel systems cannot match full coverage in the time a panel system would take to treat one region, with no client repositioning required. About Merican FDA Registered - ISO 9001 - ISO 13485 - CE - RoHS - UKCA - FCC - IEC62471 Professional-grade red light therapy, built for daily commercial use. Founded in 2008, Merican is a specialist manufacturer of professional red light therapy and wellness equipment, supplying customers across more than 100 countries. The company focuses exclusively on the design, engineering, and production of commercial-grade light therapy systems for wellness centres, recovery studios, fitness facilities, spas, and medical wellness practices. The MMB reflects Merican's approach to commercial equipment: LED components rated to 100,000 hours, a five-wavelength architecture with independent channel control, and a control system that scales from single-unit touchscreen operation to multi-unit facility management via T-Max. 26,880 EPISTAR® LEDs uniform full-body coverage at 129 mW/cm² LED-level irradiance Five independent wavelengths red 633 + 660nm, NIR 810 + 850 + 940nm Continuous wave and pulsed modes two dimensions of protocol customisation Tiered control system touchscreen, wireless tablet, and T-Max multi-unit management Full certifications FDA, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CE, FCC, RoHS, UKCA, IEC62471, EMC, LVD 3-year main unit warranty backed by a manufacturer operating since 2008 Commercial Installation and Operation Designed for facilities. Built for daily operation. The MMB is a 4,500W, 220V unit requiring a dedicated commercial circuit with breaker and RCD/GFCI protection configured to local electrical standards. At 200 kg net weight and 278 kg packaged, placement requires appropriate material handling and should be treated as a permanent facility installation rather than a relocatable piece of equipment. The integrated cooling and ventilation system manages thermal output across sessions to protect both the client experience and the long-term integrity of the LED and electronic systems. The control system is designed to minimise staff overhead per session. The touchscreen provides full in-room control for operators or clients. Wireless tablet support allows session initiation and management from reception or a treatment coordination point. T-Max integration enables facilities managing multiple units to operate them from a single management interface the same system used in commercial tanning environments and adaptable to multi-bed wellness and recovery studio configurations. The built-in Bluetooth speakers allow client-controlled audio playback without staff involvement, improving session autonomy and client experience in facilities where time efficiency matters. Warranty 3-year main unit warranty / 1-year acrylic warranty The Merican MMB Red Light Therapy Bed is covered by a 3-year manufacturer warranty on the main unit and core system components, and a 1-year warranty on acrylic components, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial operating conditions. Merican provides technical support for eligible warranty-related issues.
