More than one interested party wants the team to rescue him. Is this a job the mercenaries want to tackle? When Veraz and Shir-ella take off to gather information on their own, it might require help from a frenemy. Intel from unlikely sources reveals more than a prison break is at stake. Someone wants to take out a Hrithain prince—one with connections to Anwyn. To make matters worse, there’s a new player in the galactic political game. One who plays rougher than the Hrithain. Can Anwyn survive the skullduggery to pull off a near-impossible mission? Or will it become a fatal stumbling block for her and the team? LJ Dix
