Hypoparathyroidism pARAdox — Tee This piece is about what people think they see… versus what’s actually happening inside you. The Hypoparathyroidism pARAdox Tee is a wearable confrontation — not just with illness, but with judgment, projection, and the shallow way society decides who you are after one glance. Across the top, the sheep graze without a care — a symbol for the world around you: doctors who dismiss, coworkers who assume, family who misunderstands, and a culture trained to react emotionally instead of investigate honestly. They look at your surface and build an entire story from it. Not from science. Not from truth. Just from reflection and popular opinion. Meanwhile, your reality isn’t opinion — it’s chemistry. Ca²⁺ signaling. Neurobiochemistry. Regulation and imbalance. The invisible war inside the nervous system that can’t be photographed, explained in a sentence, or understood by people who’ve never studied what they’re talking about. The front captures that contradiction — clinical authority without empathy, the medical machine, and the sarcastic truth stamped over it all: “Rain on my pARAd(e)” Then the back becomes the deeper metaphor: a figure staring into the mirror of death, not as edgy symbolism — but as an honest representation of the internal state this condition can create… and the prison society builds around you when they refuse to understand. The mirror reflects both realities at once: the darkness you fight privately and the cage people place you in publicly This isn’t a sympathy shirt. It’s a statement of lived experience. For the ones who get mislabeled. For the ones who suffer invisibly. For the ones who study the truth because nobody else will. A.R.A. — Artistic Revolt Apparel Sacred design.
