Built from Experience. Refined for Warm Water. The Waihana Essentials has earned its reputation by delivering exceptional comfort, dependable durability, and premium performance for divers around the world. The new 1.0mm Essentials was built for the warmest conditions—those days when a rashguard isn’t enough, but a traditional wetsuit would be too much. Featuring the same refined anatomical V2 pattern, premium Magma Plush™ lining, and upgraded construction as our Essentials V2, it provides unrestricted movement, light thermal protection, and all-day comfort without unnecessary bulk. Whether you’re diving tropical reefs, chasing reef fish in the summer, or spending long hours in warm water, the 1.0mm Essentials delivers the perfect balance of protection, flexibility, and comfort. In many parts of the world, water temperatures stay warm enough that heavy insulation simply gets in the way. But a rashguard alone offers little protection from reef abrasion, jellyfish, wind chill, or long hours in the water. We built the 1.0mm Essentials for those conditions. Using the same proven V2 pattern as our thicker Essentials suits, we combined lightweight 1.0mm neoprene with our premium Magma Plush™ lining to create a wetsuit that feels incredibly light while providing just the right amount of warmth and protection. The result is a suit that moves naturally, dries quickly, and keeps you comfortable from your first dive to your last.
