Memento Mori Silver Necklace or Charm - Memento Vivere Reminder Jewelry

Keep your reminder with you. There is a long history of Memento Mori reminders, including coins. We have added our own spin on the concept and included a new reverse side, “Memento Vivere” which translates to “remember that you have to live.” We believe there is a beautiful balance between accepting mortality and embracing life. Memento mori (Latin: "Remember that you have to die.") is the medieval Latin Christian theory and practice of reflection on mortality. Especially as a means of considering the vanity of earthly life and the transient nature of all earthly goods and pursuits. Memento vivere (Latin: "Remember you have to live.") Know that your time is short in the grand scheme of things. So have fun while you are here. 1/2 Troy ounce or 16 grams Bullion grade pure .999 silver Chain or keyring of your choice, or charm-only Stamped on the bottom edge with (999 FS) meaning (99.9% Fine Silver) Coin design by Michael Shantz, engraved by Woody Maringer. Learn more about our artists.
