Bordallo Pinheiro LARGE MELON BOWL

Bordallo Pinheiro Large Bowl   The Bordallo Pinheiro Large Melon Bowl is a celebration of craftsmanship and playful design, part of the brand’s beloved Melon Collection. Inspired by the freshness and natural beauty of a ripened melon, the bowl is carefully handcrafted in earthenware and finished with a glossy green glaze that highlights its lifelike ridges and organic form. Each piece reflects the artistry for which Bordallo Pinheiro has been known since its founding in 1884 by the renowned Portuguese artist Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro. Measuring 150 by 145 by 75 millimeters, the bowl has a generous capacity of 740 milliliters, making it perfectly suited for serving salads, fruits, side dishes, or snacks. Its light weight of just 0.26 kilograms ensures it is practical for everyday use while remaining substantial enough to feel enduring and well made. The piece is as versatile as it is decorative, equally at home on a formal dining table or as a casual serving dish, and it can also be enjoyed purely as a decorative accent, displayed on open shelves or filled with seasonal elements. The Large Melon Bowl carries the distinctive character of Bordallo Pinheiro ceramics, where humor, creativity, and the wonders of nature are always present. Its hand-painted finish gives each bowl subtle variations, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. While functional and durable, the bowl is best preserved with gentle care, hand washing recommended to protect its artistry and vibrant glaze. A delightful combination of tradition, utility, and natural charm, the Large Melon Bowl captures the spirit of Bordallo Pinheiro’s whimsical yet timeless approach to tableware. It is a piece that not only serves but also tells a story of craftsmanship, heritage, and the joy of bringing nature’s beauty indoors.   Large Melon Bowl Collection: Melon  Piece Type: Bowl Product Type: Earthenware Color: Green (0.260kg | 150x145x75mm) Height: 75.00mm Length: 150.00mm Capacity: 740 ml Weight: 0.6 lb.  Width: 145.00mm Care: Hand Wash Recommended; Avoid Microwave and Dishwasher To Preserve Hand-painted Finish.
