"Mel Burns Ford" Limited Edition Print

In 1967 Mel Burns Ford occupied both sides of Long Beach Boulevard in Long Beach California. Along the east side was the new car showroom, and the A-1 Used Car lot and the Ford Motor Sport Dealer were along the west side. Mel Burns Ford was an authorized dealer of Shelby American. "Buy Where The Racers Buy" was the advertising tag line. Automotive Artist David Snyder creates a scene typical to Mel Burns Ford in 1967. The Shelby Mustang 427 "Super Snake" is one of several high performance Fords sold by Mel Burns Ford. The Mustang was built by Shelby American to perform high-speed tire tests for Firestone. It was purchased by Mel Burns in anticipation of building 50 "Super Snakes" for public consumption.   Prints of "Mel Burns Ford" are reproduced from the original painting.
