Pro Series II™ Mega Der Red Max™

The iconic Der Red Max look just got a bold upgrade. With its signature red-and-black color scheme, classic decals, and oversized profile, the Mega Der Red Max is a showstopper on the pad and in the air. This advanced kit brings the fun, flair, and attitude that rocketeers have loved for decades, and super-sizes it for unforgettable launches. Triple Engine Cluster for Maximum Thrust This isn’t your average single-engine flight. The Mega Der Red Max features a 29mm triple engine cluster mount designed for three Estes® E16-4 or E16-6 engines. With all three firing at once, you’ll experience incredible thrust and a powerful ascent that’s as thrilling to watch as it is to launch. Engine retainers and clear assembly instructions make building the cluster straightforward, even for experienced modelers. Ready for Rail or Launch Pad, the Choice is Yours The Mega Der Red Max comes equipped with both Pro Series II™ Rail Buttons and a traditional Launch Lug, giving you flexibility for your launch setup. Whether you prefer the stability of a rail launch or the familiarity of a standard pad, this kit is ready for action. Just pair it with the Pro Series II™ Launch Rail or Launch Pad and prepare for liftoff. Framed Fin Construction for Strength and Craftsmanship This isn’t a simple glue-and-go fin set. The Mega Der Red Max features a unique builder-assembled fin system using laser-cut plywood internal frames laminated with balsa sheeting. This hybrid design delivers the structural strength of plywood with the clean, finished look of balsa, resulting in a durable fin assembly that can handle the rigors of clustered launches while showcasing your building skills. Durable Recovery System for Safe Returns Built with a heavy-duty shock cord and an oversized parachute, the Mega Der Red Max is designed to come back safely after every flight. The robust recovery system ensures a gentle descent, protecting your investment and allowing for repeat launches. Whether it’s your first mega flight or your tenth, this rocket is built to last. Ready for Mega Power? Gear up and launch the Mega Der Red Max today, because bigger builds mean bigger thrills.
